Since 2000 Francisco J. Núñez has led the venerable all-male University Glee Club of New York City, its fifth conductor since UGC was founded in 1894. The chorus was established for college graduates living in the New York City area, who were looking to continue a love of singing developed during their undergraduate days. Over the past 100-plus years, thousands of men from hundreds of universities and colleges have sung with UGC.
Each season UGC gives two major concerts. This season Mr. Núñez will conduct the 150-member chorus on:
