WHAT WILL I NEED?
Cell phone to film yourself
Different device to play the provided audio track

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Solid-color or lightly-patterned top (no writing or logos, be sure patterns are not distracting)
Be yourself and be well put-together, so we can use this video for years to come
WHERE SHOULD I SET UP?
Choose a well-lit space that shows your face clearly
GOOD: Light coming from in front of you and/or from the sides
GOOD: No shadows or dark areas on your face - we want to see your expressions!
BAD: Lots of light from behind you
BAD: “Spot lights” from the ceiling or lamps behind you
Use any background in your home that feels comfortable for you
Feel free to sit or stand - we want to see your upper arms, shoulders, and full head
HOW DO I FILM?
Use a cell phone to film yourself
Phone must be turned sideways like on a TV (landscape/horizontal)
Use the front camera if possible; if not, then the “selfie” camera will do
Have the phone at the right height - ask a family member to film you, or prop up the phone (suggestion: stack books to the right height, use a picture frame on top to hold the phone)
On a different device, play the “Brotherhood of Man” full audio track
The track should play out loud - the louder the better for our film editor to be able to sync
Sing along! (do not lip sync)
No audio will be used from this filming, so do not worry about any background noise
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are part of a small group, be sure to film your part IN ADDITION to the Full Chorus parts. (e.g. If you sing in one of the quartets, film the quartet parts and the full chorus parts.)
HOW DO I SUBMIT?
Good news - this file is easy to upload directly from your phone! (No need to rename the file.)
On your phone, visit this UGC Video Instruction page and click the red “SUBMIT FILE” button (at the top or bottom of the page)
Fill out the form and click “add file”
Click “select files from your device” and choose “photo library” from the pop-up
Select your video and click “upload”
Once the file is loaded, click “submit”
If you would like upload from your computer, email the file to yourself, and follow the above steps from your computer.
